Introducing the Cinewright Ecosystem. The office and the set, finally linked.
Film and TV production software that links the production office and the set, built by someone who has worked in nearly every department.
Damon has worked in nearly every department of a film set since 1992. He has acted on Fringe, Psych, Eureka and Rogue, done stunts on Rumble in the Bronx, recorded and mixed sound, and operated Steadicam. He has supervised and managed post-production on features, and wrote, directed, edited and produced Eddie Macken: True Legend. His editing on The Fork (2019) was nominated for Best Editing at the Unrestricted View Film Festival 2020.
He is now writing, directing and producing the series The Adversaries and the features Light of Day and Kashmir.
On every job, the office and the set used separate tools that didn’t talk to each other. Cinewright links them: one production travels from the breakdown and the budget to the viewfinder, the slate and editorial, with no server, no subscription and no account.
It is built as a real desktop app on the Mac, dense, fast and keyboard-first, with free apps for iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch, in 16 languages.
Working film and television professionals are testing Cinewright before launch, each in their own department. The credits below are their own careers; those productions did not use Cinewright. Beta advisors receive free licences.
